Well, you see, I had this ambition of writing a convention journal that related the more interesting things that happened at Comic-Con 2004. It would be wittily written, engaging in both prose style and subject matter, and people in 1890s formal dress would read it and say things like, "Oh, well done! Bravo! So witty!"
But, as it turns out, Comic-Con is a bit of a haze at this point, and I'm suh-wamped with work. So here's what you get. Pictures with captions. Woo!

Aaron A., creator of Serenity Rose. He looks very serious, yes?
Antony Mazzotta, creator of Bombaby, which is so cool that we publish it in color.
Ben Towle, creator of Farewell, Georgia, and Eisner award nominee for "Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition"
Black Olive, creator of Outlook: Grim. I took her picture at a slant so she would look eeeeeeevil.
Christopher, creator of The Ghouly Boys, looks very pensive. I bet he's thinking about Flash Gordon.
Crab Scrambly, creator of The 13th of Never and painter on Everything Can Be Beaten. I didn't need to take the picture at a slant for him to look eeeeeeevil.

ARRR! Here be Derek Hunter, creator of Pirate Club.
Marc Schmidt, creator of Egg Story, came out all the way from Germany to be at Comic-Con. But don't be fooled by that or his last name! He's Australian.
